Deborah De Pinto, LMSW
She/her/hers
Education
Deborah is a dedicated therapist with a passion for helping children, adolescents and families thrive and become their most resourceful selves. Her passion initiated from her past experience as an office coordinator within the pediatric oncology department at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Deborah believed she could have a deeper impact on children and families navigating biopsychosocial challenges within direct practice. Her clinical experiences have been home-based family therapy programs at The New York Foundling and within outpatient community and school-based settings.
Deborah, a Licensed Master Social Worker, received her masters in social work from New York University, with a concentration in children, youth, and family services, in 2020. Her approach draws upon psychodynamic, attachment and relational theories, along with C-DBT, and play and art therapy that sparks creativity and humor with children in sessions. Deborah is fiercely committed to using an anti-oppressive lens in her work and to honing her clinical skills through continued training and education.
